Ok, another one of my traditional shots. Faaaaar from perfect, but I love it, and that rarely occurs when it comes to my own photography

The concept behind this one is how the mind perceives time. You know how the past can be recalled as clear as day, the present is hazy and half-formed because it is happening, and the future is almost blank because we don't know what might happen? That's what I tried to show with this photo, with each stage of swinging representing one phase of time (the clearer right side being the past, the middle the present, and the blown out left the future).

This is a double exposure (I had a triple, but I never got to print it ), on TMax film for anyone interested I have a spotty memory so I don't remember the details about the aperture and shutter speed And the camera shifting? Well, let's just say fire ants can't seem to resist my toes and chose the least fortunate moment to check em out
