This is a surprise gift art for a forum member who's trading ponies with me. Her pony is in a slightly better condition than mine so I decided to include this in the trade. She colletcts Gusty stuff. ^_~Gusty in black ink and watercolour. Pink paper with holes glued on greenish passepartout/mat cardboard, green and grey maple leaves with two punches. Some pale grey dots with a Copic marker and iridescent glitter glue to give the final touch.
About 12 x 20 cm.

Gusty is a G1 Unicorn character released in Year Three (1984-1985). Gusty was a frequent character in My Little Pony animations, voiced by Nancy Cartwright. Gusty appears in both the My Little Pony: The Movie and My Little Pony 'n Friends episodes The End of Flutter Valley and The Glass Princess.

I never had Gusty but I saw her picture in a sticker album as a kid and she's been my favourite pony ever since. I'm determined to collect all the variants I can afford (I'm afraid some of them are so pricey I'll never get my hands on them...) So far I have two adults & a baby but I will get moaaaar.

You might have some chances to find more rare ponies in garage sales and flea markets. In my town I also have a store who specialize in old toys. I've been going around for a few years and been finding a gold mine of rare stuff XD

Yeah, someone in Finland recently found two Spanish piggy ponies in great condition O__O (Those are worth several hundred bucks each... Every collector dreams of a flea market find like that!)
I rarely find ponies in flea markets - then again I don't visit them that often, only those that are near me because I don't have a car. And there are a few other collectors in Turku who do that way more actively than me, and even they don't find ponies that often. Of course I always keep an eye out for ponies, but usually I just have to buy them from other collectors.
