Description
my final project at the uni may 2007, duration 2 weeks( only 4 hours sleep). program used: photoshop cs2, illustrator cs2, aftereffects 7, particle illusion 3.0, Final cut pro. i forgot what the brief says, but its like make it the best you've ever done and it will be show on an exhibition graduate showcase, venue Light House Brighton, POSH Venue*, i did all in my powers to make this as good as possible but time was my enemy, i still have to improve this alot but oh well at least i got a B+ grade on this which is fine for me^^ in the end i still have to finalized this for my own improvement, hope anybody liked it at least. a simple constructive comment will be appreciated thank you!Related content

It is fun how the animation only considers physics when it wants to. From this angle you look three, but later you look older. The buildings loading up are awesome!

I think it might be because your hair has so much volume. It makes you head look a bit bigger.

Beautiful job with Garage Band, though, love the music.
Not to mention the art style, totally digging the choppy, sprite-like shots of the character for motion.

Only one little glitch... the aliasing on the wings is because of dA's scaling of the video? or a minor production flaw?

ahh yes, it is a flaw!, that is cause by the program particle illusion i think and the heavy transferring of the file from one program to another on a wrong format. the moment a realized its too late i dont have time.

yay! motion-graphics with a "real" story, these are hard to find! 
Now... even if was a "B+" I congratulate you for doing this in 2 weeks, I really loved the story... the black/white adds to the epic, serios feel. Personally I never done any animation in b/w cuz I never thought it can look this good... this inspired me to try it one day

As you said you could do some extra polishing, but aside from that I think it's a great piece. Keep on making great motion graphics

come to think of it that 2 weeks was horrible, it is only motivation love for work that drives me. yup you should try one day, it only needed motivation, without it you'll never finish it ones you've finish it you feel free finally the nightmare is over. hahaha no really its fun it might take a long time but ones finish all that hard work paid off.

I understand how much time and energy goes into a project like this. It's great to see more film on DA that isn't fluff. I more time could have been focused after the conflict when the gas mask is removed to show he is fighting himself. Then again that's just my thought. Again, awesome job. Should have been an A.
