I really like this photograph, especially since the lighting is so awesome. The two-toned lighting looks super cool on its own, but I think it's even more effective compositionally because the colors are relatively complements of each other; the contrast between warm and cool tones works wonderfully, even more so given that this is somewhat of a party setting.
I also really like the position and expression of the man. He looks very focused on his work, which makes this very powerful, and the way his body makes a diagonal line through the composition is very good design. The black background helps make the colors pop out even more, and I like the subtle hints of background objects. Great work!

Band shots with stage lighting are always fun. I've got some from the 60's in San Francisco that I hope to get a round to soon.

nice shot, I invariably fail to get anything decent at live shows but having looked through your gallery you've got some great work, the fact that there's a lot of decemberism makes it all the more wonderful.
