i would comment on all the ur zoo shots but theres just to many good ones. I really like this one it sort of reminds me of when i went to teh zoo when i was young and thats pretty much all i could see between my hight and the fence lol Great Job with all the photos

Another gorgeous shot! And also, again, I would have liked to see the curve of his trunk. I think that would add a nice element to the shot.

actually... i thought about getting the whole truck... doing this in portrait, but i thought... do i really need the truck in there? i think that the mind can naturally fill in the missing part and know that its there without seeing it. plus i think it makes it more interesting, which is a plus...

It's a great pleasure! I'm always scared to give give crit on people's images, because I'm the furthest thing from a professional that you can get. I just relay what I think in my personal opinion and hopefully that's of some use to you.

LOL! Ahuh!

I didn't look forward to my meeting last night, 'cos I was worried that they would just rip my images apart. That didn't happen though, so I'm quite glad about that. I got good feedback and learnt a HELL of a lot!

i read your journal entry actually... congrats. that would be pretty exciting... i havent really had any of my photos judged officially yet... so it would be cool to get 2 silvers and a 2 golds. and just being around all those other photographers would have a really interesting energy.
