Saw this when I was on a random cycling trip today.Ended up cycling almost entirely straight, so I could take the same way back. Mainly because the maps app was not working. Didn't see much photography scenes unfortunately. The surroundings of/villages near Enschede that I've been at so far, are not good for landscapes and the roads are quite small and of relatively bad quality, compared to Friesland. Luckily the UT campus is quite rich in nature. Maybe I have more luck when I go the direction of the airfield.
What I noticed is the fact that many fields, and nature in general, is very dry here. The Eastern part of the Netherlands can use quite a bit of rain...
