Description
I drew this for the final seeding competition for the PUMMEL series at Penciljack. David Bovey, a fantastic artist, chose the topic "Storm" - the X-Men character. I decided, to add some movement to the piece, I would have Storm in her various outfits I knew well from the time I collected comics. I think it came out well enough and so did the community at PJ. Though I lost, it was a nailbiter - it came down to the last vote - I only lost by 2! That put me in the number 2 slot for the actual league and Dave as the number 1. That also meant we'd have a rematch the following month.

This piece was also a test of my pencilling skills. I've been concerned with my tightness and line weight. This piece was great experience for getting that down - one more step towards professional quality. I'll get there!
