Alright im no good at critques but here i go XD
So first off i would like to say this is a very creative peice i love the waterfall so im going to start my critique from there (:
First off the water is very well done but the part that bugs me is where the waterfall meets the stream, it looks like you smuged it to make a splashish sort of thing?
Instead of doing that i would take the airbrush and make splashes of water instead, and waterfalls, expecially one of this size should have some misty stuff around the bottom. You can do that by taking a airbrush with a soft edge and lower the opacity and go arou nd the bottom lightley with it to give it a almost foggy look to it.
Next is the color scheme i think that the colors should all have a bluish look to them scince im assuming the sun had just set the grass sees a little bright to me but other then that it looks good. Also the shading should match the lightsource which im guessing is the moon? The trees dont seem to match the light source.
One last thing is the rocks, i think there should be a rock or two on the other side of the waterfall because right now it looks like the water is falling from the heavens XD and the rocks in the front did you mean for them to be out of focus kind of, if not then they should be a but more detailed.
Other then that this is a very nice peice and i cant wait to see the finished product! Hope you understood what i was saying <3

I'm not great at critiques...
But this picture really caught my eye. I'll break it down best as I can.
VISION-The fact that there really isn't a subject allows the viewer to focus on the details of the landscape, like the water and the grass. There's the perfect amount of shading (except on that far right tree) and the colors all blend well. You can see a lot in the picture.
ORIGINALITY-I wouldn't know how many scenes of a waterfall at night there are on DeveiantArt. But this picture seems original to me.
TECHNIQUE-I can tell you're seriously improving. It's not too busy looking or detailed, but there's enough detail to portray the light source and the shape of the objects. A little more effort could be put into the rocks, though. And that water effect is seriously cool. It's dynamic, yet realistic. Just be careful to spread the detail evenly throughout the entire picture so your eyes take in every aspect of it, if you get what I mean.
IMPACT-This picture has a pretty strong impact on me. I love the colors used. And I really get the calm, picturesque mood of the setting.
So in all, great job.
