After 2 days,Navi managed to steal and carry the key to Link's cell.And then she proceeds to nagging him about it till the end of times.

I got sent to prison a lot during that part. One time I had knocked out all the guards in a room with arrows, walked down and saw pots. "Pots!" Smashed them with my sword, woke up the knocked out guards, and found myself in prison again.
