Description Melkor again
After being defeated and captured by Valar for the first time he had to see the death of his apprentices. His hair became white in a moment back then, but he couldn't do anything, fearing to hurt the world with his power.
At least, that is what "Black Book of Arda" says.

Your work's amazing! You don't happen to know if there's an English translation of the Black Book of Arda, for us non-Russians.. I can't seem to find one online, and the only mentions I found were from "purist forums" condemning anything different than Tolkien wrote himself - which is quite irritating....

First of all, thank you very much! But nope, I honestly doubt someone might have translated that book. It's not that well-known even here in Russia after all, and is blamed by the majority of fans for turning Tolkien's works all upside-down. Still, if, by chance, you have a Russian-speaking friend or something, I could send you the original
