Description
Shadows are a strange thing.
If scientists are right,
And the weather affects happiness, like days or night;
With the sun bringing the joy of passing days
And the moon sorrow
That comes before tomorrow.

Then the shadows ways
Are set against this grain.
Here, let me explain:

For when our mood should be on par
At least with the suns height,
Our shadows distance is at its most far.
And at the dead of the darkest night,
Your shadow appears to be more close
Than most. Does that seem right?

So I come to this conclusion;
That the sun is only an illusion.
As on many of Scottish days,
He does not appear at all,
Despite the lonely Cockerel’s call.
So while the sun's time is but fleeting,
His brother Dark is always completing
That continuous cycle.

So as the sunlight can stutter and fail.
The Dark's the one that will prevail.
