Description
This is my tattoo!I've used uni-ball 0.7 and a little texture for background with photoshop.
This tattoo have an important signification for me.
EDIT: Daily Deviation?? Really??
I did it in 15 minutes during History's lesson... i can't believe that x°D!
But i'm really glad.

I really like this idea of birds coming out of a feather, since usually feathers molt off of birds. Interesting reversal.

I think if this is a design you are planning to get tattooed in a few years, you shouldn't have put it online because guaranteed someone has (or soon will have) printed it out and had it done themselves, exactly as it is.
Yes it's a pretty generic design, but as this one is drawn by you with the birds etc specifically symbolic to you, so you really outta know this.
People bring in others' custom designs from deviantart almost every week where I work. My favourite was a guy who'd googled 'tribal turtle' and found a design from DA, but if he'd actually read the description he'd have seen that the original artist had hidden someone's kid's names in the turtle's shell. What a knob. Almost ended up with some stranger's children's names on him.
Anyway, popular images on deviantart come up in google images which is where a lot of utter losers get their tattoo designs from, if you'd rather avoid that, don't put personal tattoo designs online

I really don't mind if people are mmmh, not stupid, but crazy, by tattooed a pic without signification.
This draw have a specific signification and if someone try to give other signification at this feather, well he/she really crazy and stupid, because they can't.

Awesome! I wish I could draw feathers that well, I have a tendency to sketch out winged animals often but the wings look like furry triangles hanging on for dear life between the animal's shoulderblades.

Agreed. I worry that people with variations of this design will feel a bit silly in ten years time when their ever so deep+meaningful (freedom/family/independence) bird/feather tattoo on their shoulder blade is basically the same tattoo as a million other peoples' deep+meaningful bird/feather tattoo on their shoulder blades. Or little flocks of bird silhouettes, or feathers on the sides of wrists... etc.
This stuff is so popular on tumblr/pinterest but people don't realise these kind of designs are just the tribal sun/barbed wire armbands of the '05-'15 period.
Tattooing has always been about common symbolic imagery like birds and skulls and roses, but this is such a dreadfully specific design for so many individual people to be wearing.

Actually I saw a design like this (a feather that turns into birds) in Pinterest and a tattoo artist commented "If I have to tattoo this thing one more time...ugh"
Of course if it has a deep meaning and she likes it just like it is, she should get it, but seriously, feathers/feathers turning into birds/anchors/infinity symbols are sooo trendy right now, I almost feel sad for the people who got them first..
