I’m so happy about Fairy type! xDI’m planning on doing this for Gardevoir, Jigglypuff, and Marill, too, and maybe I’ll sell these as buttons at future cons!
Because fairies are just great <3

I like the fact taht the new typ is effectiv against dragons but...fairys? Fairys beat a MOTHERFUCKING DRAGON?!
...I wish they had take the name "Light", that would be cool and a lot better than fairy...now i have to think about "Cosmo & Wanda: The Fairly OddParents" when i see this o____o

Have you readied the REAL Fairy Tales? (I don't mean, child Fairy Tales!) And Fairies can beat that damned lizards cause' magic... Fairies can do Magic and that is more powerful that brute force. That's why!
And one last thing... You really want to get a Male Clefairy or a Male Gardevoir? Also, your beloved Dragons are flooding the Metagame, that's why Game Freak released the Fairy Type!

(I don´t know if the brothers have another name like in german)
"normal" fairies here in germany have not very much power,
they can troll you, make illusions and help to defeat the evil with
good tipps for the hero.
Dragons can be beat very easy but is diffrent for each typ of dragon.
The funniest thing is about water dragon: Just put a robe or something
like this around thier necks and they fellow you like a little puppy and you can
do whatevar you like to them :3
A Fire dragen can be kill easy if you put iron in its mouth, when they breatn fire.
The iron melt and the dragon die.
And so one....also that werewolves jump on graveyard walls to prove thier skills
(have a old book about mystical animals and things, i had to laught about that story x"D )
I´m not a very big dragon fan, i´m more the fire and ground fan.
But i hate that picture of godzilla who got beat up by a little fairy .___.

don´t like the name "Fairy" for the new typ =/

I am not into the whole "Fairy Type" thing personally though.. I wish instead of making a WHOLE new type, they would've stuck to one that already existed . Theres still a lot of ground to cover if Eevee is really to be THE Evolution pokemon

I think it is a great type ^.^ It was about time for a ne type. There were already a lot of fairy-like Pokemon, so it was a great choice to change those Pokemon's types so that the new type wouldn't consist of so few Pokemon compared to the rest.
And by "fairy" I don't really think it has to mean those sparkly, girly things that buzz around. I feel like it's more of a "Magical" type, ya know? I embrace it!
But if you don't like it, that's fine, too.

I actually prefer Fairy type. Light type sounds pretty cliche whereas Fairy is pretty original and fits with the concept of many Pokemon. I don't really know how they could make it work in Japanese either. While people may compare light with good, it's not as archetypical there compared to in Western cultures.
