I give myself anxiety every time I draw this guy. Now, I'm not a person who gets grossed out easily at all, and while teeth themselves don't have an effect on me, I can't stand any kind of tinkering on teeth or the look of bad teeth, and I often have nightmares about my own teeth falling out. As if that's not enough, my trypophobia can be pretty awful and hyperdontia is literally the grossest thing I know. Too many teeth, especially in humans, literally make me sick in the stomach and it's really weird and god I hate it so much. And yet, here I am with a character with too many teeth in all his three heads and I keep drawing him... Why must I.I wanted to take one of my old works in progress and finish it. The lineart and base coloring are from 2013, I redid the shading and added a background, though quite hastily, and it's a little different than what I imagined it back in the day. I do like it better this way, though. He used to have a tail, seen here, but I've left it out several times afterwards. Still not sure if I want to keep it or not, though.
Anyway, hope you guys like!

Yeah this is definitely fucking freaky. I know you said you don't know but I can't help but keep asking myself why the hell you would draw this if it freaks you out. And dear fucking god, I made the mistake of googling hyperdontia. Good think I already knew what trypophobia was, and FUCK I hate it too. So nasty and disturbing on so many levels. Google needs to SERIOUSLY fucking change whatever causes pictures to appear on the website search part of google. If I fucking want pictures, I'll click images. If I google something normally, you better just give me a fucking description and no pictures UNLESS I FUCKING ASK.
Really great picture despite the freak fest in his mouth. I especially like his hind paws/feet, they look really good. Personally, I say no tail. I think his body is more humanoid than animalistic. Background looks nice, he looks like he's in a lava cave with a skylight just above the tunnel he's in.

I honestly wish I could answer that. :'D I guess it's the same reason people look at things that gross them out, despite the fact that it indeed does exactly that? Numerous multiple teeth is a gross thing, so it kinda brings more of the unfriendly-factor for this guy, I think. ALSO IKR. I didn't even know there was a word for trypophobia until a few years ago, but I'd always had it and it'd always made me uneasy, and I remember I always had trouble concentrating (I already gave ADD, as if that wasn't enough) in biology classes in jr. high when they had those super macro images of fibres as in bone fibre and muscle fibre and all that in the books... ugh, gross. :L
Also, exactly what I've been thinking. I feel like the tail sort of takes something off of him... whatever that means. Thanks a lot though!
