Description
Osaka, JP 2006Documenting Japan. This is in Amerika-mura part of the town where it is very animated . People with interesting characters hang out at Sankaku Koen where I also shot my Japanese Street Fashion series.

Since I wanted to make each print personalized to the buyer I will be selling them through my own website so that all prints are signed ( personalized to each buyer ) and dated in the back. For authenticity , they will also bear my official Chinese stamp .

REALLY nice. I love the fact that the car (of all things a vintage Chevy) is identified as being 100% American and its all the way in Japan. I didn't know there was a place dubbed "Amerika-mura" although now I'm quite interested in venturing there. Other than the subject itself, brilliant colours definately make this an addition to my favorites. Wonderful work.

haha...Amerika mura is a really weird place, isn't it? It's the only place i saw real samurai katana stashed behind Jamaican bongs. haha. so eclectic.

When I lived in Tokyo I noticed that most of the low riders I saw had Shinagawa or Saitama license plates. I assumed that the cars must have been "gifts" from rich parents.
