Description
Set sometime after the events of my last drawing of Octavia, "Bring Him Back!" Octavia sits down after her concert still grieving for the loss of her husband. At this point she feels like she's given up and that all hope is lost now that the most wonderful thing in her life has been taken away so cruelly. She then thinks about her faith in Jesus and - like many would in her situation, she asks why he would allow so much of this sorrow and agony in her life. Then suddenly, she finds herself thinking of a song she use to sing when she was a child about trusting her Lord through both the good and the bad. As the song plays in her mind she turns to see Jesus himself offering his hand. She hesitates for a while, but then with tears still in her eyes she slowly begins to reach out to accept his hand and a small smile forms in her face before she sings the song to her lord and king.

Lyrics
I thought I did what's right
I thought I had the answers
I thought I chose the surest road
But that road brought me here
So I put up a fight
And told you how to help me
Now just when I have given up
The truth is coming clear
You know better than I
You know the way
I've let go the need to know why
For you know better than I
If this has been a test
I cannot see the reason
But maybe knowing I don't know
Is part of getting through
I try to do what's best
And faith has made it easy
To see the best thing I can do
Is put my trust in you
For You know better than I
You know the way
I've let go the need to know why
For you know better than I
I saw one cloud and thought it was a sky
I saw a bird and thought that I could follow
But it was you who taught that bird to fly
If I let you reach me will you teach me
For You know better than I
You know the way
I've let go the need to know why
I'll take what answers you supply
You know better than I
It's at that moment that she knows that not all is lost.
Her husband is gone.
But Jesus never is.

I'd like to see someone make an animated video of the events of my "give him back" drawing and this one back to back.

Yeah I only watched the movie a couple of times as a kid but never owned it. But the song kind of stayed with me.

Well, it is a fantastic movie that and the Prince of Egypt, its a shame Dreamworks doesn't do 2D anymore ;-; They were both so beautifully animated.

Agreed. Let's hope someday 2D animation will have a comeback. Maybe it will with Don Bluth's Dragon's Lair movie.
