Used reference for the Yokai and some background details.
It may not represent the whole story between the characters but I did my best and worked really hard.

I worked really hard on that
took like 3-4 times the time I usually take to finish a painting but I'm proud of it

yes normally I just skip backgrounds cause either I have no idea what to do with them or just think I cant handle it. And also cause usually I just rush through making my paintings cause I want to post them fast... but it hurts me in the end cause my paintings are really not as good as they could be. But this time I decided to take my time. Maybe cause it's for a contest... heh
But I think it really paid off.
