Lyre being raised by the most unorthodoxed father, learned from an early age that patience is the greatest virtue. To make up for his father’s equal lack of enthusiasm, Lyre is also very peppy in nature. With this optimistic look, Lyre is always seen with a contagious smile. Lyre is also a follower of a good heart as he always wants to do whatever he can for those he cherishes as friends. However his happy-go-lucky personality can seem overbearing to some individuals. While still young, Lyre has a tendency of being way too forward and casual to those he meets, which can be offputting to those who don’t expect it. Inheriting a long streak of stubbornness, Lyre can sometimes seem bratty when faced with ordeals that contradict with his viewpoints. Other times this may give the impression that he ignorant to the situation and has too much of an ideological vision in mind.
Overall Lyre is a child at heart and doesn’t seem to care of how others think of him in return. While he does understand there are some boundaries around others, he will gravitate to anyone that he deems as a friend. Putting his friends first before his own he may appear selfless while others may see it as recklessness. Either way, Lyre will always be one of the first to respond to trouble head first.

History:
Being the only child to a lone traveling herb merchant, Lyre grew up seeing most of Soliel over the years with great awe. While he never questioned his father’s unknown origins, he was always surrounded by stories of his father’s friends and family when he was growing up. Leading him to create a great bond between them, and to this day considers his father as his best friend.
Because he is the son of a traveling merchant, Lyre was able to see both the beauty and desolate areas of his homeland. With war growing more each year, Lyre has witnessed more and more destruction by it from war torn fields to destroyed villages. Unsettled by the growing dangers the war he directed his negative feelings towards Noctil, wanting to bring peace to his homeland to restore what had been lost.
Upon visiting a small village, Lyre witnessed first hand a small raid being played out and quickly joined the other villagers to prevent any more destruction. Once a small unit from the army arrived to subdue the ordeal Lyre quickly volunteered to join their cause. Once accepted he wished his father to remain in the village, promising to return to begin their travels again, and soon after bid him farewell.
