We can count Shadow of the Colossus as a fairy tale. This is really pretty. It's interesting how they're so much higher than the castle. You so rarely see that in fantasy illustrations!

I admit I do cliche themes a lot, but I try not to go overboard. You know how some fantasy pictures have just been done to death? Like The Old Wizard Coming Down a Path from a Hilltop Castle Behind Him pic. Or the Warrior Standing with a Brandished Sword and Warrior Chick Hanging On His Knee pic. Or... man, I could go on and on....
