Yep, can't expect me to not draw these cuties all huge after the Pokemon Direct! Now I have an excuse to draw giant Pokemon ahahaha!
I still can't believe it's a thing.... it's like a dream come true~! <33333

I admit, I'm not really interested in this new gimmick. It looks pretty silly to me and just makes me question how any of this could even work. I feel this is a step down from last gen where we got interesting new forms of familiar Pokemon.

I suppose it's just not my cup of tea for two reasons:
1. The whole 'make characters grow to Kaiju sizes or more' creeps me out. It's never settled well with me, mostly due to the following.
2. I have a tendency to think about things logically even if it's fantasy, and seeing giant creatures bigger than realistically possible makes me think of how all their bones and organs are being crushed from under all that weight. This might also be why I was never fully invested in things like Godzilla.
