Commission Chart 2012

Price for macro / micro is now higher ($35 $40)~
Bustshots ------------------------------- Sketch: $10 + add. Character: $3
- Lineart: $15 + add. Character: $5
- Flatcolor: $17 + add. Character: $5
- Fullcolor: $20 + add. Character: $7 + Full Background: +$5
Fullshots -------------------------------- Sketch: $15 + add. Character: $5
- Lineart: $20 + add. Character: $7
- Flatcolor: $22 + add. Character: $7
- Fullcolor: $30 + add. Character: $10 + Full Background: +$7
Macro / Micro --------------------------Average price: $40 (fully colored)
Depending on the details, the price may go higher or lower.
A full background and/or a second character is included for free to indicate the size difference (both characters must differ) from size!
(I'm more for the gentle type, but a little bit of violence is fine too. No killings shown!)

Note: I might decline your commission if I don't feel comfortable with it, even though it met all conditions.
Process ---------------------------------1. Send me a note with all the information
2. I'll then tell you the price and start drawing a rough sketch
3. I'll show you the sketch and when you're satisfied, send me the money via Paypal.
4. After the payment, I'll start doing the rest and finish it.
5. When finished, the commissioned piece will be uploaded at my deviantArt account.
6. I'll then send your order with all the files via E-mail .......... and we are done!

Took the prices from my poll and I have to admit, I felt kinda "cheated" because I put a lot of effort to my pictures and still get only a little.
I apologize in advance if the prices are much higher now than before~
( Meh, I don't even think that I'll get so many customers anyway... |DD )

The price always depends on the final product.
Those are base prices. It'll either raise or drop, depending on the difficulty and how the picture will look in the end.

Well, Basically, you would draw most of Joseph, & only half of JX-10s head. Since the background is pretty much just black.
So I'm guessing that the price would drop a little.

I've been meaning to comment on this for a while. As you well know, I'm going to start taking commssions, but I'm unsure of how much to charge. I don't want to undercharge and shortcut myself, or charge too high and cheat my potential customers. So I was wondering, what do you believe would be an acceptable charge rate based on my skills?

To tell the truth, I don't really know it myself.
I think it depends on how long and how much you put effort into your pictures. The more time and effort, the higher the price and vice versa. I do felt undercharged in the past but I didn't know how much more I should charge for my pictures.
So I asked my watchers through a poll how much they would pay for a bustshot. After that I based my pricing on those comments I received for my question.
Maybe you should make a poll too and see what other people think.
