-----FULLVIEW PLEASE-----Here be the reason why I haven't posted anything in FOREVUR.
Orange and blue are my favorite colors.
But only when together, bc they're complementary. At last, all you people can see what I'm REALLY capable of. A brand new dragon drawing....because I draw them for some reason and I'm really good at it for some reason. But this is probably my best. (Compare it to "Dragon Bookmark" and you'll see how much I've improved over the past year.) I really had fun with this, even though THE DETAILS KILLED ME IN THE END...
Oh well. Hope y'all likey.Lol. He has a purple tongue. I didn't really realize that until now.
Why did I do that? Oh, btw, the reason there is no background is because
a) I suck at drawing backgrounds
b) I'm too lazy.
Materials: pencil, pen, Prismacolor pencils, Diet Snapple peach tea, and my brain. No reference used and I didn't trace, you silly person.
Took approximately 5 hours over a span of approximately 2 weeks. Woohooo.
As usual, my scanner deserves a slow and painful death.
EDIT: Finally, lighting, etc. edited in Photoshop to combat the evilness of my scanner.

I do enjoy the complementary orange and blue on the dragon. And I'm not sure if you did this intentionally but your dragon has feline qualities to it. Such as the arch of the spine and the shape of the feet .... I like it!!

Yah, I have a tendency to draw overly-thin dragons...I just think it adds to their feral look. (Fat dragons = unrealistic dragons!!) But I suppose I went a little extreme here.

Ah, so it's a he. Well as far as reptiles go males are generally less aggressive, so he probably wouldn't attack unless he was provoked... or hungry.
I wonder what he'd think if he met my dragon? He'd probably be confused...

This is a really wondeful piece, I do love how the colors matched together so nicely. I would have never guessed that Orange and Blue match so well
Anyway,
I also love the body shape of the dragon, it gives it a defined and slender look. The wings look amzing too, and the fact that they're all cut up to make it look like ice is done rather nicely. Love it~!

One thing to NEVER DO: mix complementary colors. You only get one thing from that: brown.

Brown is only good if you use it correctly, other wise it's a ugly color TT^TT (Except for hair and eyes, then it's pretty cause it's shiny 8D )

It's OK. I don't think it matters how much time you take. I mean this looks good but not nearly good as what REAL artists can do in 2 hours.

But, yeah, if the artist was all willy-nilly like THAT, I don't think I would feel that bad.
It's alright to have pride, and be proud of your work
but to get cocky, and brag like that, I believe, shows very poor character to me
