Speedpaint!
Done for the Daily Sketch Challenge from   Forbush Man

I enjoyed drawing a dude wearing a pot on his head. It was kind of a fun experience. I drew this in little over half an hour, sometimes it's nice to lean back and smell the artistic roses with cute drawings.

I really liked the simple pose along with the movement of the cape.
So cool that you did it digitally.
I would like to get used to my tablet quickly! T.T

Thanks I'm glad you like it!

Practice practice practice! It also takes a long time to get used to using a particular art program. It isn't just adjusting to this funky plastic thing and funky plastic pen.

I currently switch between Paint Tool Sai and Adobe Photoshop (mostly Paint Tool Sai) and the controls and brushes are completely different in both programs so that's a lot of fun. I've been using Paint Tool Sai for years so the controls are almost second nature to me now! (but it wasn't always this way! The unfortunate evidence is littered throughout my deviantart gallery.)

I prefer drawing digitally to drawing with pencil and paper because it's easier to fix screw ups and I just like the way it looks better? But there are still things that are best done on paper! I used to sketch a drawing on paper and then redraw it digitally (not a bad way of doing it mind you, I still occasionally do warmup sketches and figure drawings this way) but now I can actually sketch digitally.

Do you do any traditional art? I occasionally watercolor and acrylic but not very often.

I confess that I got used to drawing with the mouse and I have not adapted to the tablet yet ... I will practice more!
I use Krita for most of the drawing process and Photoshop just for details.
Digitally drawing has always interested me more, but for some time I have been training the basics.

I used to paint a lot of landscapes with gouache, I'm thinking about using it again, but I recently bought a set of watercolors ... what to do first? lol
