Still cant get over this; so beautiful. Love the colors too. I think that it would have been cool to mabye put roots in certain places of the blue green area, and this caracter looks a little starved. Mabye that was intentional. : )
Its really hard to say anything constructive about this, i dont know what you could add. Awesome painting. My favorite of yours. : )

Thanks for that critique! Is she starved? I don't know. I think I'm mostly intrigued with the way some bones surface in the flesh sometimes and make some interesting shapes. I like the roots idea...I will probably rework this idea again and see what I can do differently to enliven the negative space.

I still like the contrast, if you do add roots, dont put them everywhere. Put them in sparingly. : ) The energy flow is awesome
