Are you saying we shouldn't tell God of our troubles? Do you never ask for help? And can't you do both? Jesus wouldn't act so snarky...but that's just me.

Im not saying we shouldn't tell God about our problems, but we shouldn't make that the sole reason as to why we talk to Him.
Look, The kingdom of heaven (us) is under siege so let the violent take it by force (Matt. 11:12). God wants us to have a fighting spirit and encourages us to keep our focus on Him so we can have perfect peace as told in Isaiah 26:3

Nowadays we have total access to God and He is with us always, so if God is with us who can be against us? Romans 8:31

To answer the other question, yes i do ask God for help. There are days I ask Him why my husband and I havent found a home. I am currently living out of my car near the Rockies, but i choose not to focus on my situation but rather focus on eternity with God and the ministry He has given me even i cant see them currently.

I see. I know we shouldn't only go to God when we want something. We should praise him during the good and bad times. But I was taught that God knows life gets hard and that we shouldn't shy away from confiding in him because he knows we can be weak, so maybe that's where we differ.

I'm glad that you're staying faithful and positive during your tough times and hope that God will bless you with a home of your own soon.
