I felt like I should give you guys an update on Klaus.. I'm not sure if there were any people out there who still thought Klaus was dead. So here's some relief, he's not!
GAH, it's been so long I don't even know where I left off with this guy. I think the last picture I drew was Scitch and Ral coming to Klaus' aid on the Bloodsports planet where Ukengrazer left him to die.
I had started a short comic I'll never finish explaining all this. Scitch and Ral were doing a covert sweep of the planet, they had the wonderful job of scavenging the dead contestant's bodies for useful equipment for the resistance. Scitch, I suppose seeing the innocence deep inside Klaus, or perhaps seeing as how he was just a smeetling, decided to take him back with them. I'm still waiting on ~Mech-Maker to put up a great picture he did of Klaus in recovery in the resistance base.
Anyway, here's Klaus finally being awake and healing. Jexplh had mostly been in charge of watching and caring for his recovery, This is Klaus' first real awake meeting with her and and needless to say he's pretty afraid of her and the other resistance members. I mean remember, being raised under Ukengrazer, he's been hold his whole life how cruel, primitive, evil, and horrible other species are. To him they've always been the enemy, and if he didn't kill them they'd kill him. So right now he's feeling like a captured soldier behind enemy lines here!
But just give him some time, he'll soon realize these guys are the best thing to ever happen to him. ^^

Poor guy. You know, he really should have kicked wuts-his-names ass in the comic war you participated in! I mean, I know it would have been a lot of work to keep up with it, but truth be told man, you should have taken some names!

Yeah who he technically lost to is pretty pethetic. But honestly, in my story he got much further and got beaten by some unknown opponent.
I'm glad I got out of it, I have a friend, Raffy who actually won.. SO much of his drawing effort went into all that for like a whole year.. he couldn't draw ANYTHING else.

aww poor little guy <: he looks so scared and lost, but at least he made it out alive and he's got peeps caring for him now ^^ He is an adorable little guy, I wanna hug him :3 *grabs him and huggles him in my arms 8D*

Sure these people are here to help him, but HE can't be sure of that, hence his fear.

Hmmm.. I'd say they're about the same size, Ukengrazer is really pushing the boundaries for her short height and being at a high rank like she is. The only reason she was promoted so high is because she's such a good strategist and has a ruthlessness and loyalty to the Empire and their racist beliefs.

It's so strange seeing him in this state of mind since I don't think I've seen him scared before. It makes me want to huggle him.
I like the eye-patch too. It's funny though...the first thing my sister noticed was that he didn't have a shirt on. She's so goofy like that.

I know right? Scared is not something he's shown before. However that was back in his regimentation, when everything was orderly and predictable. How everything's gone crazy and suddenly he's found himself with all these 'enemies' surrounding him. Plus he IS just a smeetling after all.
Haha not really a patch, just a gauze over his eye haha. Oh yes, he's quite nakey I bet ^^ well.. cept for the little pants they put him in when he was healing.. you'll see if Mechy puts his picture up.

Well, it is nice to see other parts of a character...really shows some depth. It's very easy to forget he's a Smeet sometimes. It's crazy to think of all the stuff he's had to go through so far!

After wanting affection from Ukengrazer his whole life, I do think meeting Jex here is the best thing happening to him. She's such a loving character with mother vibes
