Well two things happened to be in my mind to make the random piece you see come to life in my head. I'd just been talking or rather RPing with a good friend about infant Scymanteria. I explained to her that infants will naturally refuse to eat anything that's not still alive.. it's part of an ancient animal-instinct. Thus all of them must be hand fed live insects until they are old enough to be weened off of them. Around this time, Puffy released her drawing of the artist Pixies: [link] and the two things kinda just clicked. XD

So how does it feel Puffy and Zerna? About to be eaten alive by a giant baby bug? XD

On an intelligent side, this allowed me to show two things I wanted to show about the Scymanteria. The first is how the infants are fed.. I plan on going into more detail with this in another drawing too. Also I got to show an adult Scymanteria hand up close. You'll notice they're not completely exo-skeleton. The inside of their palm and fingers are actually covered in a fleshy-like material similar to the pads under dog feet. This allows them to both to have more flexible hands, as well giving them 'finger prints' so they can grip objects (that is what your fingerprints are for if you didn't know.)
