You can see the required amount of time to make a pill or capsule.

The Capsule, given to a mouseman turns it into a Mauling Buddy, they are really useful if you want to cross dangerous places or attack a specific strong mob or mob group, the person can have more than just one Maulin Buddy following then HOWEVER, they are prone to attack eachother so it is not so advisable.

The pill however, turns the mouseman into a Mauling pest, those have more damage than the Mauling buddy, however, they attack anything on sight, be the person, other mutated creatures, other mobs, they will attack literally ANYTHING, this includes structures, even trees. They are useful if the person wants to destroy objects and creatures that spawns periodically, since the Mauling Pest won't let go until the object and creatures are destroyed in that area or if they run away.
