Thank you dear Douglas. The problem is that i love cracks if they are real but I do don't like textures added to my pictures. I love to gain textures in the 'natural' way.

that the darkness of the subject was owing to it being an old photograph . . . ( certainly could be wrong ! )
I have often posted pictures in which I assumed others would , almost , automatically see it the way I
saw it . ( but 'tain't always so !
