Actually to clarify, I'm being a bit sarcastic on this since while some Christians might express their disapproval of the art, I don't recall the last time a Christian murdered a dozen people over some cartoons.

BUT if you look back in time, the crusades, the inquisition, even Salem, you'll see tons of people murdered in the name of Christianity. Also just look at the history of the Vatican, whose tour guides will even admit a corrupt, rotten history bent on domination.

I don't recall an exact mirror event of this committed by followers of any other religion specifically, if we are solely referring to the murdering over drawings, rather than the act of murder in the name in one's religion as a whole. If we are to review the actions of militant Christian attacks on others, the one that stands out to me the most is the Wisconsin Sikh massacre of Aug 5, 2012 in which a man by the name of Wade Micheal Page who lacked the knowledge to tell the difference between a Sikh and a Muslim, not that it matters. Murder is murder.
Then there are the many, many assaults on abortion clinics and it's practitioners. Too many to name though if you wish it I could find some specific events.
There was also a shooting of a Universalist church in Knoxville by Christian extremist Jim David Adkisson.
Still, militant Christian attacks aren't as frequently reported as Islamic militant attacks. Not saying that one religion is better than the other, however. Just saying that there have been and will continue to be extreme acts of violence from all sides and no religion is perfect.
