Whee, here it is- my first ever attempt at a game in Flash. It took so long I have forgotten when I started it, actually. I'm reasonably sure I didn't have this beard before I started it, though. *scritch scritch*ANYWAY so on a peaceful purple planet far far away, the Tribe of Pink lived out their lives in happiness and tranquility, with the occasional brief period of frustration whenever they had to tie their shoelaces with their teeth. Unfortunately, one day smack bang in the middle of the Tribe's annual Purpletober Solstice, a race of incredibly destructive green midgets arrived in a fleet of ships, wiped out half the tribe, and took the other half prisoner. Pink, the only free member of the Tribe left on the planet, must defeat the Greens and save his people.
arrows move Pink, Ctrl fires his Legendary 8-Ball of Doom. Nothing much else happens, admittedly, but it's good for a couple of minutes.

I figured out that if you go all of the way to the bottom, the little green dudes can't get you. They just fly right over you. It was fun, but the music started making me crazy after a couple minutes.

fun! but i needs to get harder and eventually faster and the greeies must fire back eventually. but i understand 1st attempt, and for that it's surprisingly fun. ^_^

Good game. Needs a nifty intro, and levels, and an end. It's really simple cause it doesn't auto scroll and you can just stop and shoot the green midgets, but it's really really good start. Lots of fun.

I played until I got to 87600, then somebody waved something shiny in front of my face and I got distracted and died.
This is totally ace, Erin. Totally ace. Though I'm still worrying about poor Pink's masculinity issues.

I got up to 16600 before I died. I have no life heh. Anyway, this is REALLY good, but extremely easy. The only suggestion I would make is to make it so that you can't move on your own, but so that the game moves you foward. Might step it up a bit. Other than that, great decoration, and the music loop is to die for, hehehe.

Oh god this is fun. @.@ I got like 75K before my cat jumped on me. o__o I'll be back to play with this one, mark my words. I think the different-colored-guys idea would work well with this, too.

Got to a little over 70k and gave. I think spacebar would've been alot easier to use as a firing key, but the music you selected fits. It might be cool if the little hair / antenee swished when you moved forwards.

It's funny, when I first played this I thought it was along the lines of those games where you're some kind of flying snake-thing and the whole idea is to not run into the ceiling or ground. I was getting kind of bored until! I read the rest of your comment. That was neat! I liked it a lot after that. I do agree with whoever said it down there: add some different colored guys who are worth more. That would spice it up quite a bit. Fantastic job, though, for your first time! Very good!

Way cute, this, and very well done. The scrolling was very nice, and the sound effects were good. The music is a bit annoying, but probably because it's a pretty short loop.
Nice and clean, too! I like my Flash neat.

being able to choose volume for the music would be good, like mute, low, medium, and high. The characters move smoothly, and firing is neat 
I got 34800 on my first try, though, so it may be too easy. Especially since the ctrl button can just be held down and the 'bullets' fired at an obscenely fast rate.
