First of all, if anyone has any better name ideas please tell me!! XD but for now its name derives from Giraffidae the name for the family but also 'differ' i guess cos it differs from its evo.*Affidiffa evolves into Girafarig when levelled up whilst holding a Tainted Incence which can also be used to evolv other pokemon.......
my final entry for the contest submitting at quarter past 12 XD phew!! hope you like it i think its pretty cute <3

Like the design. I have a suggestion about the tail. Maybe the tail could have a face, but a docile, asleep face.

This is very very good. But I do think you need to work just a tiny bit more, not much at all, however, on your Sugimori design. (:

U'd need sum kinda head on the tail, 2 stick w/ the spirit of its ecolution.
Dun need 2 B a functional head, mayB just like a drawn eye & mouth. But I think it should B part of it.

The name sounds neat! The only interesting alternative name I could think of was Giaraig... but it doesn't sound baby-like ^^U

yeah, that's what i was trying to get at. someone just commented above and there Girafarig prevo. is formed from two pokemon. although im thinking that this Tainted Incence could look somewhat like the tail of Girafarig, which cuts out the need for another pokemon... what do you think? and thanks by the way
