Featuring Lady Jesimae | Filly | Royal and Princess Wendigo
Spring of 774NA
Princess Linette's Garden Party , Glenmore
Wendigo was looking at the flowers on the little stone in front of her, sighing. Why she had decided to participate to that stupid party? Now she was forced to make a gift for one of the lady of the herd... The fate hadn't been nice with her... She was supposed to offer something to Lady Jesimae, a very young girl who was actually... Valen's daughter. So she was supposed make a gift to one of her rivals fillies. She rolled the eyes, annoyed. She was furious, and the envy to step on the pretty flowers was really, really strong. But she also knew Valen was happy of the situation. Sighing heavily, with a little of angry groan, she tried to find an idea. Not really easy when she never really cared of that child.
She had no really choice. Walking out of the den she was sharing with Valen, in a big empty trunk, she searched the filly of the eyes. hnnnnnnn... It was the filly of that commoner... a pretty doe with BLUE EYES... how unfair... She was a princess, and her ugly brown eyes made her rather bitter. her gaze fell onto the filly... and she frowned. Alright, the filly, somewhat, lightened something in her head. Maybe it was the eyes, rather sad, of the little girl. Or the expression on her face. A weird smile lightened the expression of the princess... Oh yes. She already saw that expression. herself, long time ago, as she watched at her face into a pond.
She felt close to the filly, oddly. Oh, Jesimae had a loving family, Wendigo had no doubt about that. But she had that sad fold on her lips. so young... Actually, she could see a copy of her own daughter, Laureline.
She had an idea now. Looking around her, searching for some plants, she refused the help of Valen, and of her hoofmaiden. She wasn't so good at ccrafting, but she wanted to do it alone.
Later, long time later, she was ready to offer her gift to the filly. her nose was covered of small scratches, proving the care she put in her creation. It was a crown of thornes, covered of pretty flowers. The forehead of the filly was protected with a small band of her so precious white bear pelt. She gave it to Jesimae with a soft smile, with a little tint of irony. "I hope you'll like it, Lady Jesimae." She didn't said more. She didn't needed more words.
Did the filly realised? it wasn't sure, she was still so young... But the filly had been offered more than just a crown. Wendigo offered to her, and for long years, probably, the precious friendship she rarely gave to anyone...
Hope your filly will like it anonymousllamaz <3 !
