Oh my gosh, I can't believe this was featured in DeviantArts news! You can see it or read about it here! [link] Well, I knew that I needed a break from wolves, and wasn't in the mood for people. So I decided to draw a dragon. I really and pleased on how this came out. All the textures and all. There are a few flaws with the claws, but lets not mention those
The water didn't pick up on the scanner, but thats ok, I just want you to realise that its there. XD Well, not much to say. about 4.5 hrs? Art and dragon (c) Me, Aki

Great job on the coloring, I see nothing wrong with the claws, and the water looks great. I hate how scanners don't pick up what you want them too though. Is this with colored pencil?

Yeah, I figured out why the water didn't come out great. I used a non photo blue colored pencil -____-

Looks great - stay away from that nonphoto blue - it is made NOT to be picked up by photocopy machines.

but also...wow, this is awesome. i suggest to everyone else to fullview it! the colors are so amazing! you definately know how to mix...i mix a few in each shade, but not like how you did in this.
i also love the wave splashing against the rock on the right side.

Yeah, I'm starting to learn to mix complemetary colors together to get a certain look. Its too bad the water didn't come out a little better.

haha. i dont have a problem with my scanner as much as i do with my camera. some of my pics are too big to scan, so i have to take pics of them, and my camera always makes them darker (PARTICULARLY the background). UGH!!!!!
