Every one after seeing Black Lady has wondered what would have happened if Sailor Moon was the one turned, and I think your rendition is perfect.
The choice of a purple outfit with black overlay and trim on the glove(s) immediately tells us that something is different about what is going on, even before you catch sight of the black crescent.
The feathery effect of her clothes and jewellery is also vastly different and the way you've drawn them, I feel, enhances the all over 'not quite right' feel.
But what really has the picture selling 'Dark Serenity' is her expression. She looks slightly amused -almost pleasantly indulgent- as though she's waiting for you to finish so she can do whatever she wants.
The darker tones to her hair along with the black hair pieces further bring home the idea that this is not the Serenity we know.
