July 4, 2017: Humid and muggy following an inconvenient downpour which drenched the spectators of the local fireworks. In the aftermath, and for several hours, the smoky residual effects of that celebration hung in the immediate atmosphere like a gauzy cobweb. Walking through it left one cloaked in the sticky fallout of the annual summer communion.Related content
