Opened August 3, 2018. 5001 Washington Blvd, Halethorpe, MD 21227
The Guinness Open Gate Brewery & Barrel House is the first Guinness presence on US soil since 1954, and the first ever purpose-built Guinness brewery in American history. It is located on the site of the first Maryland distillery opened after Prohibition.
As of August, 2018 all Guinness Blonde will be made in Baltimore.
The brewery is an estimated $80MM investment by Diageo Beer Company USA which will generate approximately 160 new jobs.
