Mumble with his little son, Topa. Something seems to have worried Topa, so he heads to his Pa for some comfort.Beaks are a sod to draw!
Now perhaps some people here can clear up a little confusion I have. I haven't seen the film yet, but I have the offical Happy Feet movie storybook and towards the end it shows Mumble losing his baby feathers and looks like an adult penguin. However, all the screencaps and movie clips I've seen show he doesn't lose his baby fluff. Has anyone seen the movie and can tell if he does lose his baby feathers or not? And if not, why do the books show that he does?

I work as a projectionist at our IMAX theater so I am completely and totally in love with this movie!! I've seen it many MANY times and have listened to it COUNTLESS times! (because we have to keep the sound playing in the booth so we know it's working, etc. etc) Anyways, if you have ANY questions about this movie, I dub myself as a sort of pro about this film haha!, so feel free to ask me anything about it at anytime and I'll get back to you.

I haven't seen the movie in a while, but I think he does lose most, if not all of them at the very end. But he does keep his baby down though most of it.

This is a cute pic. I love Happy Feet. As for losing his baby feathers, I notice that too. I've seen the movie twice and Mumble doesn't loses his baby feathers at all in the movie, but he has lost some of them on his chest, but not the whole thing. He still keeps the rest during the whole movie.

In the movie, Mumble hasn't lost all of his fluff-feathers till the end, but you see some progress, like, he's losing more & more of them, so, I guess it's ment, kinda, like he's rather late with the whole thing & just takes really long to compleatly change feathers!
