Description Traveling the Old World by one's self is always a risky business, even for those with a decent head on their shoulder and with good steel at their side, every encounter in the wilds potentially being deadly as even unassuming Merchants and Entertainers could be ready to slit your throat for what little you may carry on your person. Thankfully Merovech de Mortain, a young Knight Errant hailing from Bretonnia's cursed Duchy of Mousillon, did not have to worry nearly as much about traveling alone as his mount was far more than what it appeared to be. Amber is her name, a Hagranym bound to Merovech's bloodline through means unknown to even the Knight himself who has been a part of his household since he was naught but a babe, whom is fiercely protective of her young charge. Just how a beast hailing from the mountains to the far northeast of Bretonnia found it's way to the swamps of Mousillon is anyone's guess, and Amber herself refuses to say.

She is as good of a traveling companion as any, and often seeks to protect her charge before taking any consideration to her own safety but there are times when things can be... interesting.

"Next time lad, let me eat the travelling merchant." Came the voice of the Hagranym as she turned her head to look to the young man in his saddle, those many razor-sharp fangs of hers on display as she spoke. "We've been over this many a time, you cannot just eat random people... They'd done nothing wrong." Merovech responded in kind, even as his eyes narrowed at her. The large carnivorous mare often times had quite the appetite and often times grew bored with the fish often times caught from the streams and rivers they so often traveled along. Amber responded to the boy's comment by merely snorting and tossing her head to one side in an attempt to flick her mane in to his face before returning to watching where she was stepping. "You owe me a deer."

Another utterly stunning piece done by 'Piece o Scrap' of my Knight Merovech along with his faithful companion and steed Amber, another joint creation of mine and my good friend Anaktis over on FA.
