You shouldn't blur out the edges of the picture. for me personally, it takes away from the original picture. i would've enjoyed more without the blurred edges, but i still love it none the less

Thanks for the comment. I know the blur is not liked by everyone. I use it often as it seems to me to add a bit of photo realism. The nature of fractals is repetitive as well so many times the circular edge blur only covers repetitive detail. This particular fractal is not very detailed with small structures so the blur doesn't really conceal much. I actually had this image around for a while and didn't post it because I wasn't all that satisfied with the structures surrounding the center detail. And I didn't like it zoomed in either. So I found my happy medium, and blurred the edges...
