It is a shame Seath went insane. I think killing him is what a younger and sane Seath would've wanted in the situation we find him in.

Thy flame grows dim, o foul lord of ash. Thy throne is crumbled, thy kingdom lost. Accept thy fate...and EMBRACE THE DARKNESS.

"Gwyn! How I've long awaited for this! Your Age of Fire has come to it's end, and I shall be thou executioner! Thou cinders and embers shall be snuffed out! Your last glimmer of fire shall be consumed by the darkness! I! The Dark Lord shall usher the Age of Humanity from your ashes! One shall live...the other...shall die...here in the Kiln. This place will be the last thing you see before I make it your tomb!"
This art of Gwyn is...EPIC!!! NICE!!!

Nice one, i was kinda afraid they'll give him this sun-spear chugging ability. Granpa packs quite a punch with his sword and sandals alone.

Gwyn's mighty bolts put an end to all this succession bullshit. The end.

I wish he did. It would give him a casting move that could be dodgeable by your invincability frames. This would allow caster players to have a mage battle with the final boss just like how melee characters can go toe to toe with him.

It's rare in games that you kinda don't want to fight a boss, or at least feel uneasy/sad about it. And DS got even 3 of those fights.

Lord Gwyn, Artorias, Sif, I presume, and I strongly agree, but I'd add the optional such fights - Priscilla (although admittedly, I never could bring myself to attack her) and Gwyndolin (when you see that one lonely chair and the fresh flowers on Gwyn's sacrophagus and when you read how he was ashamed of how he looked, so to comfort himself he conjured up Gwynevere, it's hard not to feel sorry for him).
Maybe even Quelaag - I mean, she was just staying in her lair, gathering Humanity to ease The Fair Lady's pain and you stormed in and killed her. FROM did a really amazing job at saying much with little words.
