This is an alteration of my original here: [link] I do not permit this and ask that you take this down. Thanks.

Get off your high horse and know that there are thousands of tiger tattoo designs all similar in pose to this one and your one, I didn't copy your picture I actually drew on reference to other actual tiger tattoos I've done plus the artistic knowledge I have on what tigers look like. Unless you're bothered by the fact mines a better drawing, deal with it.

The reason yours is coming across as being a remade copy of my original is that I can see the same anatomical flaws as well as the wonky striping that mine has. Basically, when you reffed/copied from mine, you copied the same mistakes that are a part of my design.

Not only is it disrespectful to copy another artist's work so closely, it can also be damaging to your own art because you're going to be copying their flaws whether you realize it or not. Your best bet is to go out and study tiger anatomy, collect some good reference photos of real tigers, and work from there. Don't simply remake art others have done.

You finished ? ...How do you even have the brass to assume I copied your drawing in the first place ? I've seen this design all over the place but never seen your drawing until you linked it to me. The anatomy is not accurate because this is not a realistic drawing, it's a sort of cartoonish style which always comes through in my art unless I draw realistic pictures. The heads in mine and yours are totally different, so you gonna tell me you've copyrighted that specific pose on the Tiger ? ...And the stripes, pure coincidence. Now leave this little crusade you have going here because you won't change a thing, I see the little spies you have posting on your profile about how they've spotted your work around the place, and I've got to put it bluntly it's pathetic. I've drawn a picture, people love it or hate it, I'm not profiting off it and I don't want advice from you so leave it.

Yet still different, what's your point ?

It's too similar, only the head is tilted.
My point is, I doubt that you designed this entirely from your own idea.
Did you, or did you not, base this design on WildSpiritWolf's design?

I'm not pointing finger at you or anything. I'm just curious that may be you used that pic as a reference.

I used reference of course, but not that dudes pic as I explained in my reply to his comment... Don't see what this mini crusade is needed for I'm a good artist that can hold my own and you'll see if you look through my gallery. What do you hope to achieve with this line of questioning ?

Can I see the reference you used please?

Altering designs is unacceptable among artists, especially when it's this noticeable, you should know this if you are an artist like you said so. How would you feel if someone copy your design and claim as their own? I'm just merely trying to help keep DA a better place for art designers. (And that includes you, if you are one.)

You do not need to get worked up on me. We can work this the peaceful way. If you're really innocent, there's no reason to be panicked. After all, I could be wrong.

No you cannot simply because this is a waste of time. Have you nothing better to do ? I am not getting worked up you can't possibly know that from reading words so don't assume you know my state of mind, and think that I am panicked. Altering designs may be unacceptable to you but to me it's fine it helps artists grow, no work is really original, think about it. It's just a drawing of a Tiger, one of hundreds of drawings of mine, but not the centre of attention so please let it go you will achieve nothing.

I merely wish DA to be a cleaner place. That's what my goal is. So saying that I will not achieve anything is a false claim.

Why is it so hard to cooperate? It's not a waste of time, it's only a few minutes. Yes, drawing with refs helps artists grow, but it would be polite to at least acknowledge the source of your refs. This is a well known tradition of all artists. Also, "altering designs and claim as their own" and "referencing a drawing on other artwork" are totally two different things.

If you're claiming that this is a coincidence, then there are simply too many coincidences on this design. I just can't take my eyes of the tiger's rear.... really. Though the head is indeed, different, but the only thing really different is the head's angle.

I am insisting to see the refs you've used. I will stop all the persist as soon as you do that. If you do have a ref other than the one I've posted, it is a very easy thing to prove me wrong.
