This the place where i do all my work. I work on many complex problems here, having all that screen space makes all the difference.The displays are three 27 inch Acer S273HL LED backlit displays, and they are superb for my type of work.
The particularly powerful machine connected to these screens is housed in a specially cooled area behind the door, and is designed for advanced computationally based fluid dynamics simulations (e.g. moving many thousands of particles in realtime) and makes a very competent 3DSMax Workstation. Needless to say it more than compliments the setup shown here.

Amazing setup! I'd recommend a logitech G700 mouse for this setup ( Well not the G9x because i see you use 3dsMax, so you'll need more control, comfort and moar buttons 
Running a dual-screen setup here, and I'm amazed! Three screens, wow!

I think they are, i know that they have had some mixed reviews online, but i loved them, they are excellent for DTP, photoshop and 3d work, and the ever so slightly larger than normal pixel size makes it easier for precise alignment without straining your eyes, i would recommend these to anyone. Also they only draw 22watts of power and kick out no waste heat whatsoever.

I would have thought it was obvious from the first image, i us the other one to control all the textures of all the different parts as well as using it to control the render settings, a web browser for additional research, a music player and email portal.
In the image shown i am only using a single reference image, i often use four references at the same time to see complex objects from different angles simultaneously.
So no, its not for making people jealous, because jealous people don't really need reasons, it serves a very practical purpose, in fact there is a fourth screen not shown but ready to connect when things get really heavy....

I was given a link to your computer by a friend who thought it was a cool set up and simply wanted to know what the purpose of three monitors was. Looking at the computer screens I really can't tell whats displayed on them except for some thumbnails. Program wise, nothing looks familiar. Sorry if it wasn't so obvious to me.

3rd monitor, if doing work in after effects and photoshop, will auto update in the other program so its usefull to have all 3 screens. i have 3 myself. reference in one, full canvas in middle and all effects on the last screen, depends on if ur dealing with a timeline or not. just personal preference i guess, but ill never go less than 3 for the rest of my life. 3 27" LED Samsungs ftw.

Heh yep that's another common use, i am often working in ps and max at the same time when texturing, i think most people in 3d would find a third screen useful, it obviously depends on what your working on at the time, but once you have one you will most definitely find a use for it.

Cool setup; Running (3) 19" connected through a KVM switch to (2) desktops: Dual Dual core Opterons with 12 GB of RAM and a TB of disk for rendering and a Quad core with 4 GB RAM and 1 TB of disk for work (technical writer) and other stuff (SETI@Home, BOINC, etc.)
Just remodeled the office (popcorn ceiling gone, floating floor, new fixtures, and repainted). Looking for work, so much beyond that has not happened, but cable raceways and punchdowns for all the machines downstairs in in the planning stages.

i have a very similar set up only with 2 iMacs.. the build your own ones with all the max capabilities.. monsters. would be pretty sweet to have 3 screens like this dude. n i got a normal mac keyboard, nothin like urs haha.
