May I ask what you did for the blue trimming on the helmet, did you paint it, or did you attach something to it, as well, how did you find the plain vest, because whenever I do searching online I only stumbleupon modern plate carriers with molle straps. I've been thinking about making a similar cosplay for awhile now.

Thank you for your time!

Hi

It's an A3 blue foam sheet that's been put on diagonally and slightly strecthed to fit, with the back of the helmet having the gap between the ear parts built up.

The vest is an ex-police one - if you look on eBay for that you should find a lot of non-Molle vests.

The Black Mesa badge was stupidly expensive - I only saw one seller on eBay when I was looking for it, and it was something like Β£15 including postage from Argentina!

Alright, I have to ask: what did you you do for the yellow stripe on the pants? Always wanted to do a Black Mesa Security cosplay, and I like the look from Black Mesa: Source, but a quick look online turned up no results for those pants. Also, fantastic work!

I got the cheapest pair of work trousers I could find. They were something like Β£3 on eBay.
No pockets, which was very annoying from a practical point of view but very helpful from a tailoring point of view.

I got some yellow piping from FabricLand and stuck it on with wonder web. I had to go over a fair bit of the top with stitching as well, since it was starting to come loose from the angle it was at and the walking I was doing.

Awesome, thanks! I hadn't even considered the pockets, but you're right that it makes sense if you want to do that tailoring.
