Description This is pure technical ideas illustration, the model isnt intended to be textured as far as i know. Some features here are pretty much unique the tail rotor is replance by a tail twist and air blown over that surface and tip air blowing, the heli main body cross section has a more streamlined shape to not to disturb the rotor downwash.
The controls are accomplished by changing the distribution of lift in the rotor disc by the smart (computer assisted)
use of coanda effect.

Hope you like, even if its not made to be pretty

Ah the so called "Ultra low drag helicopter" I read it in Helicopter design textbook.. but well so far i haven't try making any in 3D's. Nice work.

Nonetheless as far as i could see now.. it appears that increasing speed over hover efficiency are the trend right now.. as seen by appearance of the Eurocopter X3, Sikorsky X2 and the Osprey.
