Recently, I've been asked a lot if I can make a tutorial explaining how I paint hair. So......here it is?
Just a couple of things:
1. THIS TUTORIAL REQUIRES A BASIC KNOWLEDGE OF PHOTOSHOP (I use CS6) AND ENGLISH. My explanations are already confusing enough, and without meaning to sound like an asshole, I don't have time to explain how exactly to use the dodge and burn tool.
2. On that note, this is my first ever tutorial, and so it's probably not the best. But if one person learns something, then it was worth it.

....... I am speechless, this is probably the most incredible step by step hair tutorial I have found..... I think it really proves if you want hair to look so real people think it is a photo (I would have thought so had this not been a tutorial), you just have to take the time to paint the strands.

this looks AMAZING,.... but holy nutballs I don't have the patience required to do ALL . THOSE. STRANDS. one by one X_X maybe sometimes when im stoned.... but... gah. If I can get even close to this, ill thank you from here to Summerland. Thanks!
