This is the drawing steps of my artwork below

Steps:
1. Sketch. Sketch the pose, composition, and a little redesign.
2. Lineart. Medium sized lineart, not too thick, not too thin.
3. Base Color. Fill in base colors, each color was in separated layers. I also draw the rough BG first and add a quick multiply layer on character to make it kinda fit with the BG color.
4. Rough Coloring. I put all the color first above the base color...It's a bunch of different layer. I didn't really care about the detail yet. My goal was to get the final atmosphere of the overall artwork first, if the rough one looks good then the refined version would be awesome!
5. Refining. After rough coloring, then I can start smoothing and detailing. *the picture on step 5 has some multiply & screen layers turned off, but it's actually still there.
6. Finishing. I color the lineart then keep refining until I'm satisfied/tired of it hehe. The last step was re-adjust opacity & colors of each layers.

*throughout the steps, I often fix some mistake + adjust the hue, saturation, and luminosity.
