Description
I drew this cover for the first number of the BL anthology Blush. The theme was "first love" so I made up a short story about two junior high school students who meet for the first time.
I wanted to draw boys in gakuran and hydrangeas but while in it I noticed that those two things couldn't go together. I mean, hydrageas are from rainy season, and rainy season comes with the summer, so it had to be summer uniform. No gakuran!
I liked "It was June" as the title, because kind of echoes the June genre from the beginnings of BL comics, so hydrangeas won over gakuran at the end.

As always as I'm writting a short story, I get a lot of ideas of the things that could happen after the last page, but I don't think I'll be able to draw more chapters of this for the moment.
