This is my surprise entry for the "A Sea of Lights" fanart event from Genshin Impact by HoyoLabs. Link: A Sea of Lights Fan Art Event

I've been playing Genshin Impact a lot lately, and I fell in love with the cutscene from the Lantern Rite event so I decided to highlight it in my drawing. Everyone seems to have their own wish for the lantern hence what inspired the title. It took me 3 days, 10 - 15 hours per day to finish this piece.

I'm out of practice so it is heavily noticeable on the final artwork...I wanted to add more tone, shadows, and fix the colors in some areas to make it stand out more but I was too pressed for time (I found out about the contest a bit too late). I also noticed that almost all submissions are digital art...which kind of makes me sad to see less traditional art these days.
