-Green Diamond as Pink Diamond: The last of the Diamonds to emerge, Green was given the role of navigator, taking to the stars to discover new star systems to colonize. Green Diamond did this for thousands of years while the gems were still a new race. Unfortunately, Green was too trusting and enamored with alien races who had different technology to notice the danger of one of the races. One of them thrust the gems into their first war, and many gems were shattered. It was by sheer luck and the vast numbers of Gems that Homeworld was pumping out from their own Kindergarten that the gems won. However, their victory came at a high cost of many gems, and this put Yellow as head of military from that moment on. The diamonds never seemed to truly trust Green again because of her mistake, and she was even forbidden to claim any more colonies, as punishment for her hubris; she now had to deal with the small court she still possessed. As an added punishment, Green Diamond's pearl was taken away after speaking out of turn and insulting the diamonds for not giving Green a chance to atone for her mistakes. Green Diamond was given Peach Pearl as a replacement, the only new gem she received after her punishment. It took thousands of years of Green Diamond pleading before they relented and decided o give her a colony to prove herself; Earth. However, she and her new Pearl went down to actually see some of her new gems emerging, disguised as a Praisolite, as suggested by Peach. Once she explored Earth, Green decided she wanted to protect her planet from further destruction and take her remaining gems to live freely on the planet after discovering humans. Thus her past lines up with Pink in the very same way.
